UPDATE - 16 March 2020 - The 2020 Aileron Bush Weekend has been postponed due to the public health directives stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The Aileron Bush Club is sorry for any inconvenience and disappointment. The Club will work to find a suitable date when patrons, punters, sponsors and riders are no longer at risk of getting sick. Club representatives will contact each and every sponsor and participant as soon as possible.



Need an idea for Easter that involves fun, family and friends? The come on down to Aileron for the 16th annual Aileron Bush Weekend on Good Friday and Easter Saturday, 10-11 April 2020!

On Good Friday afternoon there will be a rodeo school, where knowledgeable experts will instruct up-and-comers.

On Friday night we'll head over to the Aileron Roadhouse for a pre-rodeo party, to get everyone into the spirit of the weekend.

Saturday the rodeo will kick off at 11:00, and will run under lights into the night. Following the rodeo we'll continue the good times at the bush dance. Entry fee to the dance is $5, gents must wear a tie, neat and tidy dress standards apply for all patrons. The gate closes at 9:00 pm.

On Sunday, we'll take it easy as everything is packed up and everyone can head home after a good rest.

So pack the kids and camping gear and get your backside north-side to the Aileron Racecourse (130kms north of Alice Springs). We can't wait to see you there!

Please note that all competitors entering the gymkhana must be 3 years of age or older and 80 years of age or younger as of 31 January 2020. Competitors entering any rough stock events must be 5 years of age or older and 80 years of age or younger as of 31 January 2020.

Aileron Bush Club recommends all competitors have personal ambulance cover.
